TIM HOLLANDER (b. 1987, NL) graduated as Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht (2014). His practice revolves around the various infrastructures of art exhibitions and the act of displaying. The work reflects on the presentation, representation and facilitation of (contemporary) art and exhibitions. During his stay at the Jan van Eyck Academie he has explored the boundary between designing a publication and curating a display, using a display as a physical tool to design the spreads of a book. As a spatial counterpart to this portable exhibition space, Hollander has compiled the central exhibition during the Open Studios 2017.
